Sudoku Biyori Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Futaba Kobo ("we") describes below how the Android app "Sudoku Biyori" (the "App") handles user information.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address. The App does not send any information to our servers.
However, the App includes the following third-party services, which automatically collect the information listed below.
| Service | Provider | Main information collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (showing ads) | Google LLC | Advertising ID (Android advertising ID), app set ID, IP address (which may be used to estimate your general location), interactions such as ad views and taps, and app performance information such as launch time | Showing ads and measuring their performance, preventing fraud |
| Firebase Remote Config (delivering app settings) | Google LLC | Firebase installation ID, country and language codes, time zone, OS version, app version | Changing settings such as how often ads appear, without updating the App |
This information is handled under each service's policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Firebase privacy and security: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Third parties, including ad networks, may read or record information using identifiers such as the advertising ID or IP address when showing ads.
2. Information stored only on your device
Your progress, such as solved puzzles, puzzles in progress and settings, is stored only on your device. We cannot see it. It is deleted when you uninstall the App.
If Android Auto Backup is turned on, Android may back up this data to your Google account. That backup is managed by Google according to your settings, and we cannot see it.
3. Data retention and deletion
We do not hold any of your information, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete.
- You can delete your progress on your device with "Erase all progress" in the App's Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
- Information collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is kept and deleted under Google's policies (How Google retains data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention). You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (see section 7).
4. Permissions
The App has permission to access the internet. It uses the internet to show ads and to receive app settings. You can solve puzzles without an internet connection.
5. Children
The App is not directed at children. We do not collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
6. About ads
The App shows banner ads at the bottom of the home and puzzle list screens, full-screen ads after you finish a puzzle, and video ads that you can choose to watch (for example, to use a hint). The App does not show ads while you are solving a puzzle.
7. How to change your ad settings
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Settings > Security & privacy (or Google) > Ads. Names may differ by device.
- Users in Europe (EEA, UK and Switzerland) are asked for consent for advertising. You can change your choice at any time from Settings > Ad privacy settings in the App.
8. Security
Communication with these third-party services is encrypted (TLS).
9. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how information is handled, we will update this page and add a "Last updated" date below the effective date.
